Deadly Gaze
Unravel the mystery of Agent Spinny as he travels through a labyrinth filled with killer robots.
Description:
- Gameplay consists of the player stealthily navigating a laboratory that is infested with killer robots
- There is no attacking, just avoiding
- The player must use the environment to hide themselves from being spotted
- The storyline is quite serious, but was intended to be presented in a comical way to give players a way to relieve frustration
- The main character, Agent Spinny, is a FBI agent that is investigating a genocide involving a robot army slaughtering humans
- He discovers who the mastermind is, but before he can reveal it to anyone, he is kidnapped and held captive in their basement
- Spinny navigates through the maze-like environment to find out that he was the murderer all along along with other twists
Goal:
- Design a Flash maze game that has a short production on a small team of sophomore students
Outcome:
- We were the only team in the class that finished
- Hosted on the professor’s website to show off the work of her second year students
